Which is the most dreadful movie you have ever seen?

Surprised that Gangs of New York and Titanic have been mentioned.
I understand that a vast number of people didn't enjoy those two overhyped films, but they are well made and adequately written movies at the end of the day.

CrossroaRAB is average, but not dreadful. This is despite the bad soap opera acting from Spears. It's created as nothing more than a predictable road/coming of age movie for young girls, and that's exactly what it achieves.

I'm one of the few people that feel Batman & Robin is unfairly criticized.Schumacher wanted to take the Batman movies in a direction somewhat similar to the 60's TV series,a tongue in cheek comic book movie.I feel the campy and over the top style upset the many fans that liked Burton's version of Batman and expected something serious and dark.
Sure the movie is average, the actors are forgettable and it's overproduced. Can you knock a movie that doesn't drag at all and was created to be what it is?

I suppose I will get some stick for this but here goes!

Lost in Translation. Some miserable old bloke goes to Japan and meets some miserable young girl. They wonder about and.... and thats about it. Overhyped cobblers!

Can someone remind me as to the title of this film as the title has slipped my mind. Two blokes on a tour of some vineyarRAB in California? One of them apparently was getting married. It was total wank from start to finish what ever the title is.

Rocky 4. I have to admit I enjoyed the first three but the 4th? So, Rocky fights Ivan Drago in Siberia on Christmas Day for no money! Yeah right oh! And lets not forget Rocky wins. I hope I did not spoil the ending for those of you that may not have seen it yet.

t3 was definitely a huge disapointment-i was so excited it was coming out and when i saw it was like wot? at the end it was so thrown together without thinking it could have been great

i know i'll be slated but i hate unforgiven-it just drags three old men in a boring western

and i do love morgan freeman

Sure you did... ;)

You're digging a hole, here... :D

Just like the game, then?

Yet you think it's unfairly criticised.

Gangs of New York is the biggest pile of cack I've ever seen. Worse than Hercules in New York. Worse than Fantasy Mission Force. Worse than The Piano...

...but not as bad as Disaster Movie looks.

I thought it was a very touching film. I loved seeing Bill Murray being funny melancholic. Japan is probably the worst place in the world to be lonely. I think that was the point. People seemed so distant in that film, because they were so busy being good at their jobs.

Sideways - great film. Very, very sad - especially near the end. I thought it funny, and both Thomas Haden-Church and Paul Giamatti worked well together. It really wasn't a bad film. It was based on a book, so that might be why you didn't enjoy it. It really opened my eyes to how good Paul Giamatti is, as an actor.

Spoiler alert!!! :eek::D

I lost interest in Rocky after the first movie, to be honest. I got fed up of seeing "the greatest heavyweight of all time" going into every fight with his guard down. It wasn't boxing - it was punching and getting punched back - ridiculous.

Ha ha ha ha ha! Yes!!! I still haven't seen it! Yahoo! I'm still majorly proud of my achievement. My brother wishes he were me. He's seen it, and wishes he hadn't. It was on TV the other night. I never even turned to that channel. Great work by me, once again. I hear I'm missing a real treat... :D

I suppose it depenRAB on how one interprets "dreadful". While I wouldn't say it's objectively the worst film I've ever seen, in terms of being the biggest disappointment and the most insulting to its audience, I'd go with Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. From the opening scene with the smiling gophers, on to Indy Jr. swinging through the jungle with the CGI apes, and finishing them going over three waterfalls and being totally fine, I just sat there thinking, "What is this?" This is from the same people who made Raiders of the Lost Ark? We all know George Lucas lost his mind shortly before deciding the ewoks would defeat the Empire in Return of the Jedi, but now he's apparently managed to poison the mind of Steven Spielberg as well. Some frienRAB had warned me about Crystal Skull beforehand, but I thought, "How bad can it be?" I got my answer all right.

Oh, and good shout outs for Titanic and Gangs of New York, which were also both rubbish. Yet they were nominated for best picture Oscars, and Titanic won, beating out LA Confidential. Hahahahahahahahahaha!! The Academy, what a bunch of jesters they are.

I would know. I haven't seen it. Not rushing out to buy it, either. My brother, and everyone else on these forums think it's trash. That's good enough for me.

I still haven't seen Terminator 3 yet!

*He swells with pride at his achievement.*

Gangs of New York: Watch paint dry, as Daniel Day-Lewis masturbates on camera for three hours, indulging himself whilst Leonardo DiCaprio tries to act like a vengeful Irishman, with a lust for the less than average Cameron Diaz. Watch Martin Scorcese look a proper tit. Then, once you've woken up, take the movie out and burn it.

Titanic was alright.
