Which is the better Mac for me to buy used out of these 2?

One is dual 1Ghz processors with 1.5GB of RAM.

The second is dual 867Mhz processors with 1.75GB of RAM.


Both are running 10.4.11 for the OS. I am a heavy Photoshop user, and will be using CS1 for all apps.

Please no Mac/PC comparisons—I WILL end up buying one of these 2 machines. Thanks!

Well depending on the gap difference of the price, I would say Mac 1.

Edit: I just saw your update when you added the price, considering that, I would definitely go with the first one (Dual 1Ghz processors with 1.5GB of RAM, because the more CPU Speed, the faster the PC. (It's really good for the Adobe Creative Suite)

Buy this: Dual 1Ghz processors with 1.5GB of RAM.

(Layman's term)
The higher the MHz the faster the processing time.
The higher the memory the more efficient your computer will be.

Since you mentioned you're heavy Adobe Photoshop user.

Photoshop is a heavy resources consumer especially if you're loading a couple of pictures with a very high resolution such 2000x2000 (or higher) photos at a time.
