out of 7, 9, 10, and 12
Lots of people are gonna go for 7, I can tell you that.
Personally though, I love 12 best.
And like what the guy above mentioned, the earlier games were pretty epic in their own rights. I really loved 3 back when it first came out and again, when it was remade for DS.
But you know who's the real winner here?

Out of those three, 7 is by far the winner of the the popular vote. However, you give no credit to any of the earlier games in the series. 3/6 and 5 were phenominal games.
