My car recently died, I have 2 different relatives offering to sell me their vehicles.
First up is a 1998 Toyota Camry, 130k, VERY well maintained, previously owned by my Mother, selling for $1200
Second, is a 2006 Hyundai Elantra with 75k, also well maintained. Selling for $3200.
I know Kia and Hyunai are Korean made and tend to be of a little bit less durable (similar to that of Saturns) than Nissans, Toyotas, etc.
Does anyone have any experience with these vehicles and would recommend one over the other? Should I go with the older camry which has a reputation to last longer or fork out the extra money for a newer lesser durable Hyundai?
Thanx in advance for any advice!
