Which is more important to advertise - Business cards or Brochures?

Few days back while browsing net I came across classy collections of brochures at http://www.graphicdesignblog.org/15-awesome-brochures/
and then saw a collection of amazing business cards at http://www.graphicdesignblog.org/15-awesome-brochures/. It made me think that on which we should pay more attention to advertise our business...any ideas?
