Square Garden? obviously the Yanks will be moving into a new stadium and I just had to ask this question because I lived in the area and get/got to go to both venues.
Yankee Stadium held great moments like the Red Sox making the biggest comeback in MLB History, the 26 WS titles, and Yankees legends but it only is baseball history.
I have to go with Madison Square Garden because of the great Knicks legends like Willis Reed,Dave Debuschere, and Patrick Ewing and the legendary performances we've seen from opposing players(ex MJ's 55 pt performane,Kobe's 61 pt performace,Reggie Miller's 8 points in 9 seconds). The Knicks historically are no where near as storied as the Yankees but the opposing performances also have made the place. As I mentioned Yankee Stadium is only Yankees history, and MSG is also home to many of the NHL's great moments and New York Rangers Cup titles and legends like Mark Messier, and Mike Richter. Not just is it a professional sports shrine but it also has had some great and legendary college basketball games and thats not even counting the many teams that have celbrated winning the Big East Conference Tournament on the floor, and players like Iverson,Ray Allen and Big East legends putting on great performances on the floor and some legendary conferences tournament moments
To me Madison Square is better, but I liked Yankee Stadium too
Which do you think is better The Worlds Most Famous Arena or The House That Ruth Built?
