Which is Better, the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO or the Yokohama Geolander HT-S?

They cost the same. I wanted to know which is better in the rain, snow, ice, etc. I will not do off roading, but I need a tire will be good in the winter. The Yokohama has a 60,000 mile warranty, but the BF Goodrich does not have a mileage warranty. Should I be worried about the BF Goodrich running out of the "tread" too early?
