I am going to be in the truck market soon and Im torn between Dodge and Toyota. Please dont suggest Chevy, they suck, I see lots of them on the side of the road, chevy drivers dont know how to drive (dont use turn signals, tailgate, speed, cut people off, ect...) I see more chevys both old and new on the side of the road and i wish to have no part of the chevy/gm side. Ford isnt bad, they are good vehicles and all but I dont wish to have a ford. Now the reason I ask about Dodge is because I have liked them even when they sucked in the late 90s. I rarely see any of them on the roadside. I think the roadside is an area most people dont think about, I rarely see a dodge or toyota (unless its old or blown a tire) on the roadside. Ive seen many dodges towing trainers simular to the vehicle trailers that bigrigs haul and dodge doesnt even struggle. Its a good solid work truck from what I have seen over the years. Toyota, good solid trucks. Dont see them on the roadside much. Honestly havent seen many of them towing/hauling stuff but the ones I have seen have had some pretty heavy looking loads. Both trucks get the same mpg, both have good reps, recalls are few and far between and the current toyota recall is over floormats (i think, or something to do with gas peddle length). I like both of them but cant decide. Any help?
