Hi there! I'm planning to buy both TV and monitor. So I thought of buying an LCD TV then just turn it into a monitor when I need a computer. Then I learned about LCD monitors with built-in TV tuners, which are sold cheaper than LCD TVs. The catch is that I am not sure if I will have to turn the CPU on all the time even when I am just watching TV.
