T tennislover New member Oct 23, 2009 #2 well u have a point.. u might get to intially have more power on the two handed backhand.. more swing.. but the one handed backhand will give u more variety and more reach.. and more options... also keep in mind the greatest backhands in the game have been single backhands.. thats what i can tell.. roger federer, justine henin, amelia mauresmo, Gasquet.. all single one handed backhands...
