Which is a better two passangers bike?

im debating on whether to purchase a r6 or a gsx-r 600. I am told gsxr's are better on the straights as where r6's are better on the turns.

Regardless i understand their fast bikes and more than enough for just riding around so id appreciate if the responses and opinions are free of safety concerns.

What i want to know is overall which are better bikes as far as maintanace, feel, looks (personal opinion and reason), handling, seats, long term advantages/disadvantages, etc. Speed can be left out because im well aware they are both faster then necessary for my needs.

Also! (and please do add in safety reasons for this questions) which of the two are better for two passangers? And by this i mean which is overall safer? Which has more room? Which is more comfortable? etc etc...

oh, and when people say jixxers are more comfortable (im hearing its because of the lower seats) what constitutes "more" comfortable? exactly how much more comfortable because people make it soundl ike r6's are just stiff cardboard seats that will give you back problems in the future. Is the difference subtle or very very noticible... the more detailed the description the better
