Which is a better bike for me start racing motocross on? 2stroke 250 or 2stroke 125?

Alright ive been riding dirtbikes for a few years now. i have basic riding skills dialed. i have a kx100 but its way small for me and im sick of how under powered it is. it was fun to start with but im ready to move on. Im looking to start racing motocross but i have no experience with that at all...never been on a track. So should i get a 125 or 250? im a huge 2stroke fan so dont tell me to get any four strokes...i wont. everyone tells me if i get a 250 ill kill myself cause of how ballsy i ride my 100...but thats what makes it fun. i alwasy need a bigger thrill so i dont want to get sick of a 125 cause ill know theres a bigger faster option...but then again i want to properly learn how to ride motocross and not just kamakazi around the track. so which is better for me? im also thinking about my weight and how easily ill be able to manuver a 250 vs 125 im 5'7" 150 lbs. i plan to keep the bike for a while.
