heres my hurable opinion on cases best for iphone.

after many try outs i opted for a sticker AKA skins (www. gelaskins. com)
my reasons for my half-dozen skins:
its not bulky with half millimeter,
its 3M anti-scratch to friction from table / pocket,
wont change colour of shape, like silicone does,
personalized pattern, depending the mood,
peel off & on many time on clean surface iphone
(i use it with transparent screen sticker)
the reasons i abandons the cases are:
gel / silicone cases deform over time and iphone starts woobling,
they grip a lot and impossible to get out of back pocket on a hurry
(lost many incoming calls due to silicone cases)
i love my wood case for style and solidness (smell wonderful like real wood with hint of varnish oil) but its bulk and wont fit with 1/2 mm skins put on - snugs well onto the iphone but i fear for scratches on metal bezzel.
plastic cases are light not so bulky but they are hard PVC and get scratches on metal bezzel of iphone + its a pain to get off because it wont bend.
