Which internet is the fastest for online gaming?

Which internet is better for online gaming. I have Time warner internet currently and it makes me lag sometimes and makes videos from xbox 101 buffer a lot and it's annoying lol.

I'm thinking about getting Verizon Fios which I hear is great for PSN and Xbox live.
any suggestions?? thanks
