Which influences our personality more, our genetics or our environment (how we

I think our personality is influenced more by a combination of our genetics, our environment, luck and personal strength. There are murderers who came from totally normal families and pacifists and altruists who came from horrible parents. In addition, you see doctors, teachers, and other professionals who came from horrible neighborhoods. You also see drug addicts, murderers and other societal dropouts who came from upper middle class neighborhoods. That's my opinion.
 
I believe genetics play a major role, but environment is more influential since it installs the buttons that are pushed, often, for the rest of our lives, even in those that are adopted. Additionally, environment can play a very effective role in changing genetics when one has had enough and desires to learn how to change rather than continue to accept something undeserved/undesired.
