Which heritage/culture would I fall under?

I am so confused because yes I am Pakistani but Pakistan only came about like 60 years ago as a country. It is basically like India except we have more immigrants from iran and afghanistan. My father and his family have a family tree that claims we are descendants of a Shiite imam named jafar and thus our last name is Jaferi. My mom looks pakistani but my dad totally looks european/irani. I was born in the middle east but moved to the US when I was 2 years old then I went to Canada and became a canadian citizen. I just dont know how to define myself or where I really belong.
