Which Hard Disk size is suitable for my Pentium 3 PC?

hi All,

Can you please suggest me; which Hard Disk drive will support my pentium 3 PC? (I want to install 3 or 4 OS for study purpose.)

my PC configuration is Intel Pentium 3 processor 996 MHz.

I asked some people; they suggested me 60 GB,80GB and 160 GB will be alright with this PC.

So, if anybody know then please let me know.

kemo, you didn't understand my question. My particular concern is; Does large hard drive can support my p3 system? I mean large hard drive support to p3
 
I would advise a 250gb ide hard drive, the reason for this is because some old computers will not recognize more than that, so you could say have a 500gb and it only shows as 250gb.
If you are reinstalling please partition as follows:
Os 15gb
Programs 10-15gb
The rest is now free for media etc.
The reason for this is disk seek time, as when you start your computer if you do not partition, it will take longer to start as it will read all of your disk.

I don’t mean to sound horrible. But you are a joker. You have a Pentium 3 with a speed of 996 MHz (so we are not even talking about gigs here).So I don’t know how your computer is going to mange 3-4 OS’s unless they are older versions starting from windows 98 and below (this is just referring to windows). I have a dual core processor (2.4 on each core) with 2 OS’s and it’s just about functioning with XP and VISTA. Anyway to answer your question you don’t need three harddrives you just need the one which can be partitioned into three sections in whatever sizes you like. The harddrive can be as big as you like but you have to get the right type depending on what your motherboard can support IDE or SATA(but I would assume its IDE cos I don’t think your motherboard can support SATA).The bigger the harddrive the better.and yeah That’s about it. you can use any size hard drive you want, just make sure you get an IDE drive as I don't think your PC will have SATA
 
Any size, P3 will/can support it. Remember, the Hard Disk is the storage of the computer. Anything that you saved will go to HARD DISK.
