Which hand are you suppose to wear your promise ring on?

right hand ring finger..right hand is promise ring left hand is engagement and wedding band
 
Your right hand. Engagement rings are worn on the left and are later replaced by or worn with your wedding band.
 
promise ring for relationships can go on the ring finger (left hand)
claddagh rings should be worn on the right hand (for non-married or non engaged people) and i wear my purity ring on my ring finger.
 
i wear it on the left because it symbolizes the same thing as an engagement ring basically: that I'm his. It can go either way though.
 
I believe it's the right but I often wore mine around my neck close to my heart.
