I have three different types of guitars:
Electro-acoustic - meaning there are thick, heavy, metal strings which are hard for me to hold down without buzzing, hurts my fingers, and it makes my finger movements choppy. Being able to play something on this though means I can pick up one of my other guitars and play it easily.
Acoustic - thick strings which are kinda hard to push down but they're light and not metal so it's easier than electro-acoustic. I can play stuff a lot clearer on here but not as easy as electric.
Electric - metal stings but so thin and light my hands feel very comfortable and I can play stuff pretty well on it.
The question:
I ultimately want to be comfortable playing all three guitars well but don't know which one to practice on. So...
When I learn a new song or exercise, should I start on electric, perfect it and build my confidence, and then move up to acoustic and then electro-acoustic? OR should I learn everything on electro-acoustic and struggle like hell, but by learning on that first means I can just pick up the other two afterwards and already know how to play it easily?
