Which GPA do colleges/universities look at?

college weighted
college unweighted
or is it all three?

i had registration today and received my transcript and was just curious.
 
Depends on the college or university. Usually they keep their method secret. Some throw out all non-academic classes and get rid of bonus points for AP or honors, then recalculate the GPA. Some just accept the high school's GPA. The reason they look at GPA at all is to compare students and try to determine who has the greatest potential to be successful in college. Generally speaking, the weighted GPA is preferred, because it is more mathematically correct.

GPA is never the only piece of information used to make a decision about a particular student. There is also test scores, extra curricular activities, and essay.
