I put a new OEM lightbar on my c50t and the lights don't work. I read that there is a fuse that will blow if the wires on the t- connector are not right. Which fuse is it and how do the wires go in the t -connector on a 2007?
I blew a fuse when I installed my OEM light bar. You either have to check the service manual or just pull the fuses until you find the blown one and replace it. OEM instructions suck don't they?
I would put it on a relay, those lights add 70 watts to the igniton, melting the plastic part in the back of the ignition. If you use a relay, it will get the power from the battery (where you hook it to) and use the aux wire to fire the lights. That way it only uses a few watts through the switch.
Have you had problems blowing bulbs? I've replaced 3 since buying my bike new this year. One lasted for about 5 miles. Have checked the ground and it is ok.
