There's an episode in The Office where at the beginning someone comes in and asks for Michael but Pam says that he's not in, but then MIchael comes out of his office and to distract Michael from the man Pam begins to say "eeeyyy" with her thumbs out to the side followed by Jim and then followed by Michael, simply because he wants to be cool and be in on the joke.
