which ducati to buy

I want to buy a ducati in the next year or so and I'm not sure which one to get. I currently ride an 06 sv650 and want to step up to something with more power. Between the 1098, 848, 749, 999, 748, street fighter, which would be good on the street and canyons? How does the maintenance vary between the different models?

They are all good on the street and in canyons. Maintenance will be cheaper on the 1098, 848 and SF. I'd say go with the 848. You can get them pretty cheap these days.

Go what you can afford. I will recommend 1198 which has everything you looking for.
For maintenance, well it is a Italian, European bike. So guess

Yeah it will be a daily driver. Does that make a difference? I like the sf but my current bike is a naked, so not sure.
