I've always enjoyed The Simpsons because of it's originality and relatable plots which any audience can appreciate. Also the shows humor has only gotten better and it isn't cheap and repetitive.
South Park is excellently written and the story lines themselves are often the funniest part of the episode. The humour isn't amazing but that is made up for with the plots and the fact the innocence of the characters is maintained which is good to say it is an adult made animation
I though Family Guy was the funniest when i first watched it... until i watched around 30 episodes and realized how often jokes are repeated and how the writers can only seem to display parody after parody of shows that in my opinion are better. I do still think it is hilarious but very cheap as it's values are similar to that of The Simpsons.
In order i prefer The Simpsons, South Park and then Family Guy
