Which decade has the better music?

How in the hell would you know?... Do you even know that many progressive rock fans to make a judgement?... Theres only like 4 or 5 progheaRAB on this whole forum, there may be more, i dunno, i was shocked to see prog win the favorite genres thread, though those other votes could just be DoC under different accounts, lol.

I'm not saying you're wrong though, i never post on the progarchives forum anymore on the account that i disagree with most of the people there.

"Prog" hasn't evolved any faster than anything else has, really. A handful of prog banRAB really have pushed limits, and many others essentially just copied those original banRAB. The same can be applied to most genres (well, sub-genres).

I find many of your favorite banRAB to be excruciatingly horrible rubbish, but i don't have to bring that up every time we have a argument... Why do you have to do that very thing with other people?

Although It could just be the case that the only music that's managed to last from earlier decades is the good stuff; they had their own fair share of crap, it just got rolled over and forgotten. And so it SEEMS like they had better music all round. I think that there Is a load of good music these days. it's just hard to find cause there's so much crap as well. but hey, I'm a 90's kid. i wasn't around in an earlier decade, so I am most likely completely wrong.

How is it writing the rest off? Thats faulty logic. Saying you liked the output of one does not mean you dislike the others.

I chose the 60's for artists like Dylan, The Beatles, The Stones and also the Motown artists like Stevie Wonder and Marvin ***e, music was awesome back then. I really think that the vast majority of music we hear these days is very poor.
