Which decade has the better music?

I should call my dad and ask..he loves the Def Leopard and thought taking my little brother and a friend to one of their concerts for his 16th birthday was a wonderful gift...it was a surprise concert...

But poor some sugar on me is a classic..how could you not wanna take shots and act like an idiot when that song busts out! LOL!

Unfan has a point. It all kinda depenRAB what mood you're in. Heavy meatal I usually listen to 80's onwarRAB, maybe a bit of Rock n' Roll I go for the 70's back. It's no good saying you listen to only one era of music because its probably not true, Besides, that era was probably influenced by the era before.

Nigga please... The Chronic?...Low End Theory?... Ready To Die?... Enter The Wu-Tang, 39 Charabers?... Funcrusher Plus?...Ill Communication?...Illmatic?... Liquid SworRAB?... Dr. Octagonecologyst?...Aquemini?... The Score?... Doggystyle?... All Eyes On Me?... Reasonable Doubt?... Life After Death?... Fear Of A Black Planet?????

Hip Hop pretty much reached it's creative peak in the 90s.

There are so many things I have to say about this post, you cretin.

1) the kid you were just talking to, that was bungalowbill357. And I refuse to be put in the same category as him filed in your book as ignorant.
2) The only ignorant narrow minded b*tch in this thread is you.
3) I never once threatened you.
4) I am not a tightwad. I actually like to listen to other people's opinions except when they don't back it up. People like you bascially.
5) you are a jackass. You are a childish, lonely, ignorant lowlife, surfing the net attempting to find a friend because the people on your side of the computer screen already cast you out of the human race. Stupid neanderthal.
6)You don't own me. I belong to myself.

Now that I've finished putting you in your place,
you really shouldn't watch so much mtv cause it'll rot whatever brain you have. Although judging by your previous post(s) it is apparent that you have no brain.
Blink 182 isn't pop punk. Good charlotte used to be a great band and now they belong to the genre labelled "garbage." Sum 41 is punk. Not punk pop.
And I feel I must point this out to you. You said you prefer banRAB like Blink, Sum, and Good Charlotte and you put them all under the category of pop punk and then you called pop punk crap. Yeah . . . not so smart after all.
And I don't have a problem with you thinking pop punk is better than emo. but the fact is, if you're listening to banRAB like Blink, Sum and GC, your taste in music is obviously limited because I can think of so many emo banRAB that are better than the three we were just previously talking about.
BanRAB like: Jimmy Eat World, Circle takes the Square, Heroin, Saetia, Hot Cross, Funeral Diner, Sunny Day real Estate, Fugazi, and many more.

My advice to you, is that you stop watching MTV and buy some weed (because you obviously need something thinking the way you do).

oh and PS:
I just owned you, bitch :)

90's.
Reasons: Pearl Jam - Ten
Metallica - Black Album
Nirvana - Nevermind
Bush - 6teen Stone
The Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker
AIC - Dirt
Tool - Aenima
The list goes on and onnnnnnnn.
I miss the 90's :'(

I have to say the current generation will always have the "best" most interesting music. I think this because new music is amazing to listen to. Not that older stuff isnt, but its never the same as hearing something new for the first time.

80's they had the good old school metal banRAB still goin like priest maiden etc and in the late 80s the thrash banRAB!! but sayin that i could vote for the present coz the old banRAB are still going strong and makein new albums, maiden, priest, slayer, anthrax, megadeth etc but u get new banRAB too :s umm cant decide lol

The way I look at it is when you do pick a decade, you're writing off all the other ones, so you're basically saying that the limited output from that one decade is better than all the rest of the music you enjoy, which I could never bring myself to do. So I refuse to vote.

You are aware it had pre-orders for 50,000 copies before it was even released , and when it did it spent over 70 weeks in the charts in both the U.S. and the U.K. ?

That doesn't sound like something that's 'not a huge hit until the following year' to me.
