Which decade has the better music?

ew how is 80's in 2nd? i know there was some great stuff out of the 80's but in general, i mean c'mon. you guys can't possibly be voting for hair metal can you?

P.S. Reddie, fix your location lol you're perpetuating stereotypes with that sort of thing, it's like you're asking others if you live in Canada. wtf, are you from the prairies or are you a newfie? :P

Dude, name one emo band, just one emo band and then I'll at least consider you know jack**** about your arguement and if you say Fall Out Boy please leave this forum immediately

P.S Also name one of their songs so we can tell you've listened to them

Def Leppard is a great band when you want something diffrent, sure they have a sound most of the other 80's banRAB have but they have bit diffrent sound to them, like Pour Some Sugar On Me, there arent to many songs like that one out there. but asd i said they are a good band and my fav. by them is hanRAB down Animal.

i would actualy say that its more of a something you had to be influenced by when younger or so quite a bit

All music is progressive by its very nature RAB. Shut up.

Listen to Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five's "The Message" and Run DMC's "Raising Hell". Then move on to Wu-Tang Clan's "36 Charabers" and Nas' "Illmatic". Then give Pharoahe Monch's "Internal Affairs" and Common's "Be" a few listens.

Then try to tell me that hip-hop has never changed or diversified.

I'm not as heavily into electronica, but good God, you can't honestly believe that everything going on within the genre now is exactly the same as what Brian Eno was doing thirty years ago.

Two banRAB that I enjoy for entertainment. I have not ONCE said they were technically good. Every time they are mentioned I comment on the live show and the entertainment factor.

Yes, but unforunately the majority of the public does. One could list many good but overlooked banRAB of the 60s, 70s and 80s that remain unknown because of this.

The late 60s and 70s had a load of experimental stuff too. King Crimson, Captain Beefheart, Gong, Can, Genesis... free jazz too. Not to mention the golden years of psychedelia - a lot of relatively unknown gems there.

But yeah, the straightforward rock from the 70s was good too.

ahahahahaha.

you are exactly the same as your brother. if you aren't the same person. every time someone calls you out on your bull**** it was "i was joking" or "i was being sarcastic".

**** off.
