Which decade has the better music?

there is no option for all of them because the poll is comparing them all to each other. an "all of them" option would eliminate the purpose of the poll.

pretty simple.

A very difficult choice. I'd rate the decades as follows:

1. 60's
2. 70's
3. 50's
4. 80's
5. 90's
6. 00's

It's really hard for me to choose between the 50's, 60's and 70's, so the above is subject to change. ;)

I see what you're saying, but the fact is that I didn't confuse pop-punk with emo even once.If you look back you'd see that I mentioned that pop-punk > emo, not = to, ya hear?Anyways, I'll probally see ya in another thread, G'Bye.

If thats true, then what makes Dream Theater prog? What have they done that 70s prog banRAB haven't done better?

Besides wanking.

Being prog and being progressive isn't the same thing.

For example, Aphex Twin is progressive, but hes not prog.

My dad is a hardcore fan..and I am not erabarassed in the least when he takes me to dinner and we are sitting at a light and he has the windows down and any song off the Hysteria comes on and he is rocking word to word..its still cool my dad rocks even if it is to Def Leopard..

I miss the early 90's and the really really late 80's...

Using hipster logic: the older it is, the better it is.

I'm going to say cavemen grunting was pretty brutal, but dark age bard songs (although pretty new) are quite nice.

Every genre has its perks, but I personally think with the technology we have the music being produce presently is far superior

I havent voted myself, for any certain decade, as of yet also. But possibly, that may be the only way to inable any type of conclusion to, what is the most popular era of music. Even then, it would take more than everyone's vote on this forum, to make any viable out come. I would guess that most people here at banter prefer rock, metal, & rap. So no true answer could be obtained. Only a bias vote. It would have to be on a much larger scale, for any type of satisfactory conclusion to what is the most popular era. And that is only going back as far as the 60s. (Just my personal opinion). My favorite decade would have to be the 60s & 70s also. But to lose one favorite song within any era, would prove to much of a loss for my vote.
