Which decade has the better music?

Wait wait , forget every groundbreaking album , forget every artist who ever pushed the boundaries of what music is about , I too am going to vote the 80s because of a generic thrash band.

I don't even see that as a bad thing. One it makes the current person look good I guess and it opens their fans to listen to the original version of the song which in turn can create more fans for the original version of the song

I think that my hatred for the eighties stems from not having it introduced to me..until after it was no longer present. I may have liked it if I could relate it to things in my past...

90's. Grunge and post-grunge (Nirvana, Everclear, Bush, Oleander, Collective Soul, Pearl Jam, etc.)

Britpop (Blur.)

Shoegazer or noise rock (Dinosaur Jr., King's X, The LemonheaRAB, The Catherine Wheel, etc.)

Punk or ska (The ORABpring, The Suicide Machines, etc.)

Other classic banRAB of the 90's I love: at the drive-in, U2, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Silverchair, Alannis Morrisette, The Smashing Pumpkins, etc.

ya what is this 80's non sense. i am not in any way gonna make some bogus claim to say they didn't have any good artist... but to even pretend that had the most, best, or largest effect is a joke. people commonly try to forget the 80's existed like a bad date.

edit - i just realized this was in the rock section... so are you referring to just rock or music in general for these decades?

Yes, I would actually. And it won't really make a difference if you were there or not since your description of the Blood Brothers was amazingly ignorant.
