creation/beat making? I want to make my own music to put to mine and my groups lyrics but ive never used computer software before and i figure its gotta be more versatile than using just a beat machine. I have an akai professional MPK49 that came with Ableton Live Lite but i had no idea what i was doing since the MPK didn't come with instructions. its preset with other DAWs like Reason, Acid Pro, etc. But i want something that's good for HIP HOP and R&B. Ive been leaning toward Reason and Native Instruments Maschine but if any of you have any suggestions im open to them. And also if anyone know where i can get info on how to program my MPK i would appreciate that too. I already tried the akai website but they don't seem to have any tutorials for using it.
