I know Colorado School of Mines can compete with UT Austin in Engineering, but I'm only 30% sure I'd like to study engineering... the other majors I consider are Mathematics, Business, Economics, and Finance. All of which CSM has (except maybe Finance?) but they are not what the school is know for, thus may not be nearly as good of a choice as UT Austin.
Basicly I'm 50% leaning towards Engineering/Mathematics and 50% towards Economics/Business/Finance. I'd kinda like to do it all...
I would really love to go to school in Colorado and love that it is small, but if I end up not studying engineering or mathematics there, would a major in business or economics there still look as good as one from UT Austin? since I may end up going to Grad School.
Also I do live in Texas so UT Austin would be cheaper too (but I have so much financial need it doesn't effect much). Traveling Costs would be cheaper if I went to UT. I've just always LOVED Colorado.
Your thoughts?
