Which Chinese cartoon (Non Anime, but comedic) characters do you like?

Some cartoony races can be dramatic, some can be soapy, and some can be......well......comedic, intelligently bothering, and ditzy. And that's why there's the Chinese American cartoon characters. They fit the whole thing.
Not only are they chinese, but their voice actors are chinese, or have some type of Chinese in them.

Well, Lauren Tom and Lucy Liu are some voice actors that people know.

Lauren voices Numbuh 3 (Kuki Sanban) and her mom Genki Sanban on Codename: Kids Next Door while in Futurama, she voices another happy go lucky young girl, Amy Wong.

Lucy Liu voiced as herself in 2 episodes in Futurama, "I Married A Robot" and "Love and Rocket", while one in the Simpsons as Madam Wu in "Goo Goo Gai Pan" and as..........um........that girl in that latino show......um......Maggie Lee, that funny, ditzy girl who's bad at spanish, smart, and crazy. And that latino show is NOT EL Tigre, it's Maya and Miguel. I pissed some members off now!:D

But again, who is your favorite chinese character, Kuki Sanban, Amy Wong, or Maggie Lee?

I'd go with Amy Wong, because I like Futurama, and her characters in it. I don't necessarily like her as a character that much, but she's pretty funny sometimes, so she gets the nod.:p

Amy Wong, she has some funny lines. I like her exchange with Leela from "Anthology of Interest 1".

Amy: Nice new boots, Leela.
Leela: Thanks!
Amy: Do they come in woman sizes?

XD Her parents are really funny too.

Oh and Kuki from Codename: Kids Next Door is Japanese, not Chinese.

WOAH! Rofl, I wrote down the name of one of my friends instead ROFL. Sorry about that, brain cramp  . I will go fix that one, sorry about that.

My favorite chinese cartoon characters:

Amy/Mr. & Mrs. Wong(Futurama)- Amy's always my favorite since she's funny/ditzy & sexy and I like the Lara Croft & Star Trek fanart pictures of her which they're good artists.
Juniper Lee/Dennis(Juniper Lee)
Kahn & his wife/Connie(King of the Hill)
City Wok chinese owner(South Park)- he's hilarious on the Great Wall part with those Mongolians.
Wing(South Park)
Jackie Chan/Jackie's uncle/Future Jade(Jackie Chan Adventures)
Samurai Jack(Samurai Jack)-I think he's chinese?
Yori/Hana(Kim Possible)
Mulan(Mulan)
Ami & Yumi(HiHi Puffy AmiYumi cartoon)
Omi & Kimiko(Xiaolin Showdown)

Amy and her parents from Futurama are pretty funny.....I like alot of Amy's exchanges with Leela, where she inadvertently puts Leela down...and I like Amy's parents' obsession with her giving them a grandchild....

someone mentioned Kahn and his family from King of the Hill, and I like them, but they're not Chinese, they're Laotian (from Laos;I love the exchange between Kahn and Hank when they first meet, and Hank keeps asking him if he's Chinese or Japanese)....

Yikes, another case of westerners lumping Asians together. You should know that some Asians take offense to being confused for being another Asian ethnic group or nationality. I myself am Filipino and have Spanish ancestry but I look very "Mexican" to several people. I get questions asked in Spanish and I don't speak Spanish.

Here's some corrections:

Kahn & his wife/Connie (Laotian)
Wing (It's either Chinese or Korean, I'm not sure if Wing is even a Chinese name)
Samurai Jack (Japanese, who heard of a Chinese samurai?)
Yori/Hana (Japanese based on their names)
Ami & Yumi (Japanese)
Kuki Sanban (Japanese)

Well, I voted other for non-anime, but comedic Asian cartoon characters, they are:

'Xiaolin Showdown's': Kimiko & Omi

'Thundercats' : Hachiman (A Samurai who oftentimes displays a sense of humor)

'Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat' : The Magistrate

'The Simpsons' :The Yakuza (imo a hilarious episode where Fat Tony's mob and the Yakuza faced off each other at the end of the ep.)

If the thread asks whose you're favorite Chinese characters are, you shouldn't be listing everyone who's not Chinese.

That being said:

The Yakuza are a Japanese mafia. Kimiko is Japanese too. And Hachiman, is presumably Japanese being a samurai, and all.

Japanese and Chinese people may look similar, but it's not fair to lump together as "Chinese". It may be offensive to some Asians. Maybe you should change the topic to favorite Asian cartoon characters?

Maybe this topic should be closed and then redone to say Asian-Americans instead. This way, Indian-American characters could be included as well.
