Which cell phones have sms texting for Gmail, and which ones are for free?

I know that T-Mobile has Gmail sms. Me and my mom are thinking of switching from Sprint to AT&T. Do AT&T phones have free Gmail sms texting? If not which other phones do?

I'm mainly hoping that AT&T has free Gmail sms texting. Just AT&T.
