Which car is faster? The '09 Dodge Charger or the '10 Chevy Camaro?

With the best engine available for each car which one is faster?
actually the 2010 versions of each
 
Camaro easily.

V6 version has 306HP compared to the Dodge V6 with 250HP.
0-60mph in 6.0 seconds for Camaro V6.
0-60mph in 8.0 seconds for Charger V6.
Charger has two V6 engines. The 250HP is the more powerful V6.

Camaro SS and Charger SRT-8 both have around 425HP.
Charger has 2 V8's. The SRT-8 is the more powerful V8.
0-60mph in 4.9 seconds for both cars.
Top Speed of Charger SRT-8 is 170mph.
Top Speed of Camaro is 174mph.

So whatever engine you get, the Camaro is better.
With the Charger having a soft suspension from a Mercedes E class, as well as much heavier weight than a Camaro, the Camaro outhandles it and performs bettwe in every way.
