Pentax ME, ME Super, K1000. Lenses will fit their DSLR range of cameras also, as they all use the K mount.

Olympus OM1N and OM2N. The OM10 also, but only if it has the manual override attachment.

I would suggest a late model Minolta. Minoltas were nicknamed "the poor man's Nikon", but many of the lenses can now be used on Sony DSLRs. If in the future you decide to go digital, your investment in lenses will be already made.

Hi there,
I'm looking for a FILM camera that I can adjust the settings manually. Also I would prefer to work mostly in black and white if that effects anything. I have a size able budget of about $250.
What would you guys recommend I look at. Also because Iam new I was wondering what should I look out for. Which features are best since Iam not overly fussed about how "good quality" the pictures are as these always looked abit unattractive to me. Iam basically looking for a camera that would allow me to do classic looking shots.
Anyway ideas?
Thank you.

Finally someone that appreciates film photography!!

To me there is nothing like a film print!

My first camera was the pentex k1000----they don't make them anymore so you'd have to buy it used.....there should be alot of used cameras out there that would be in your price range because everything is going to digital so you can possibly get the camera and several lens if you buy used.

Otherwise i would suggest anything pentex or cannon....because their lenes are availble and can even get new because they interchange with the new digital cameras

hope this helped
