after boot camp and training. at your duty station, which branch has the better family life, after work? better for a wife and young daughter?

The Marines are crap for family life. You can make it but it's rough starting out. God, Country, Corps, then Family. That's the order. Sorry. Semper Fi!

In my opinion there is no such thing as "good" or "normal" family life for a member of the military. If that's what you want, don't join.

There is no way I would consider joining the military other than as a single.

im sorry to say it, but the corps is really not conducive to families, ESPECIALLY not in comparison to the other branches. were mission oriented to a fault.

the army does....in the marines on thursday night (field day) u will have ssgts and sgts coming to ur PERSONAL home on base while ur wife and kids are there and try to punk u into scrubbing ur kitchen floor on ur knees in front of them.......once again, its the truth, but watch me get thumbs downs for it
