Which books teach ESL students what to say in various situations?

Sometimes I struggle for finding out the words to express my grief, disappointment, sadness, regret, consolation, and the like. Sometime I do know what idea I need to express, but I don't know what transition expressions are to be used to make the talking sound smoothly and naturally. Without proper transition expressions, it would sound very rigid or even rude.

Does anyone know of such kinds of books?

Thanks a lot.
