Which Blu Rays ?

I have a 42" HD ready Plasma, and I'm toying with the idea of getting a BluRay player.
Which Blu Ray disc should I get first ?
Are there any multi region BluRay players ?

I would advise getting one the same make as your tv. Sony and Panasonic are the best ones.

Unless you go for one of the dirt cheap no name supermarket Bluray players you won't be going multiregion on Bluray for under

There tenRAB to be a fair amount of Blu-ray movies that are multi region, so you wouldn't need the player to be. As for Movies what genre you into? If it only to test out blu-ray quality then this won't matter but it's always good to know what you like to watch.

Well I recently got Zombieland on Blu-ray and the Picture and Sound quality is pretty good, and the film itself is a fairly good film. And kinda matches two of the criteria above

If multiregion dvd is a requirement then Richer SounRAB and other specialist retailers will sell you a Bluray player that is MR for dvd's for very little extra.

If you get a well known branded player like Sony from a major store you can buy special remotes on ebay for about
