Can't make any comment based on performance indicators, but if it's all about LOOKS, do you really need to ask the question?

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but seriously, even if I weren't a Ducati owner, the 848 is a clear winner in the head turning stakes, IMHO.

I think at this point, given a rider's individual abilities and desires, it comes down to preference. I love a v-twin sport bike, so my 1098 is perfect. On the other hand, my wife is an inline gal, so she has her '09 CBR1000RR sitting next to my Duc in the garage. There's a lot to like about the new 1000RR, and you can't fault Honda quality and reliability. It is a LOT of bike for the money!
