I saw a show on TV about the assembly/manufacturing process for the Lambo. It turns out, there's no real usable rear view when seated in the Lambo, so in order to back up, the factory guys open the driver's side gull wing and sit on the door frame, looking backward so they can see where they're going. It occured to me, from this position, the pilot could easily get a knee down!
Of course, the Porsche has a panoramic rear view from the cockpit, so there's no need to open the door and sit on the door frame.
And that, my friends, is the difference between German and Italian engineering. The German car is designed with a panoramic view when backing up; the Italians, on the other hand, thought it more important to concentrate on what you see when you're moving forward at 150mph.
And that's why I'd rather have the MV over the BMW.
