Which bike should I buy ?

I have a budget of say 38k to 47k. I am 36 yrs old and not a passionate driver. I want to buy a bike with following priorities :
1. Good mileage in city ( I would rarely drive out of city).
2. reliability, sturdiness
3. should not slip on roads
4. low maintenance costs/ low service cost / low cost of spares.
5. Smooth gears
6. I usually drive within 30 to 45 kmph
7. Should not get back pain ( however my daily driving would not be more than 20 km)

Please suggest me a good bike. I am confused about 100CC / 125 CC etc. what the difference this CC makes to a driver?

I am also confused which company should I go : Hero Honda or Bajaj ?

Please give a detailed reply.
 
any name brand bike wil be good so rest falls on how it sits so going to a couple dealerships and sitting on one or two will tell you if its what your looking for you butt will know it when you sit on right one
