which author is better Stephanie Meyer or J.K. Rowling?

I think that they both write different kind of books so you can't really compare them. I don't really get why a lot of people compare them both, because one writes The twilight books and the other the Harry Potter ones. So I think they are both good in their own categories. So, why should we compare them, I don't think that Stephanie Meyer can ever replace J.K. Rowling but she is still great. So why compare?
