Air Force is the branch to go if you want high quality living. There's also a lot of bases you can go to overseas if you like to travel. The ultimate downside is that it takes much longer to rank up than the other branches. On average it takes 8-10 years to get up to E-6.

It's easier to get access to more things if you're in the Army. Deployments are longer and they don't always have the highest quality stuff around but they know how the get the job done and get it done fast. They also don't have as many pointless rules as the Air Force.

Navy is the way to go if you want to see the world. Not all Navy personnel end up on boats, we have two detachments here at an Air Base that won't be on a ship at all while they're here. They tend to be deployed longer because they're on a ship for so long but sometimes it can be really cool to go places you never thought you'd go.

Pay is the same for all branches, an E-3 in the Navy is the same as an E-3 in the Air Force. Air Force has the lowest deployment time on average (6 months in most cases, but some jobs are gradually going up to 1 year). Minimum time to serve is all dependent on how long you sign up for but it's still the same around every branch. Family is tough no matter which branch you choose, you be gone often and move often. Pets is probably the same for everyone but may differ from base to base. Most dorms you can't have any pets, you may want to wait until you get a house. National Guard is essentially an extension of the Army, I don't know as much about it so you may want to look into it more on your own or ask someone who knows. No matter what you decide good luck and enjoy it!
