Which android phone should I get with Verizon?

I am looking to get a Droid phone anywhere between this weekend to Thanksgiving. I've looked at the phones, but can't decide between the Droid X and the Droid Incredible.

Can people give me some feedback?

I want to use it for:

Gmail, google calendar
email/internet
GPS

The Incredible is really free with signing a new 2 year contract?! (I am new to Verizon)
