Which actors/actresses/filmmakers get right up your nose?

Hugh Grant - Has he ever played a character unlike himself?
Michael Winner - More interested in his own celebrity than cinema.
Mel Gibson - Nominated for 'Signs' and romantic comedies. Utter mince.
Cameron Diaz - Nice to look at talent-void.
Elizabeth Taylor - Used to have a tiny face, now has a moon face. Urgh.

Colin Farrel - rubbish actor, looks like that bloke from Coronation Street (not a good thing!)

Hugh Grant - plays the same role over and over again!

Tom Hanks - once he was a goofy guy who made silly but fun films, now he is 'worthy'.

Charlton Heaston - fine actor, stupid ideas about gun control (or lack there of...)

EDIT: almost forgot, Russell Crowe - get some therapy, mate.

So many movie stars to hate, so little time! :D

Orlando Bloom - Wooden-faced, wooden-voiced. I want to run a lawnmower over his hair and shave that stupid goatee. He couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

Tom Cruise - That smile is spooky and bizarre. Almost as bizarre as his behaviour these days. Why doesn't the smile ever reach those dead eyes of his. He was very good in the movie about the hitman though. Hate him in everything else.

Keira Knightley - Is there something wrong with that woman's mouth? She'd be fine if only she didn't talk.

Brad Pitt - This guy is part hamster, I swear. Another one who can't move his mouth properly, but maybe the jawbone is far too heavy. Poor dear, how sad, never mind.

Catherine Zeta Jones - Loudmouthed with an irritating accent that's neither something nor nothing.

Nicholas Cage - And yet another one who can hardly speak. This cretin mumbles his way through movies. When I saw National Treasure it stood out like a sore thumb next to the clear enunciation of Sean Bean.

There are many more.

;)

Catherine Zeta Jones and her horrific husband. When he was in Basic Instict the sex scene made me want to throw up.

I agree about Charlton Heston too, with his From My Cold Dead Hand garbage.

George Clooney. Can't see the attraction.

Andie McDowell. Who cares about her wrinkles?

Tom Cruise - he used to be OK, but now he's just a tw*t. I refused to see WotW on principle after his nonsense-spouting earlier this year.

And, in a very similar vein  , John Travolta.

Ooh yeah Tom Cruise didn't use to be that bad until he got into Scientology. Ha John Travolta too. Scientology is a dodgy thing, i was reading about it and the things they do to recruit members... its not right

yeah tom Cruise used to be ok until he got into the Scientology rubbish. Same wit John Travolta. Scientology is a dodgy thing ... the stuff they do to recruit new followers, especially celebrities, its not right

I met Michael Winner once. He is the vilest, rudest, ugliest, sweatiest, most obnoxious up-his-own-a**e person ever. His films are crude and repulsively violent.

I don't care for either Michael Moore or that British doc maker whose name I've forgotten who always appears in his own documentaries and did an Audi or BMW ad campaign - their supposedly great films about ishoos are entirely self-promotion and they are both fake lefties coining money out of everyone else worse than any capitalist.

I've gone off Russell Crowe every since he started biffing people in public for editing down his self-congratulatory boring acceptance speeches.

I can't stand Jamie Oliver.

There are too many others so I'll stop here.

I agree about Russell Crowe, but my personal annoyance is Leonardo diCaprio.

I have never, and will never, watch any film he's in. I don't know what it is about him that annoys me so much, but he just sets my teeth on edge.

Kevin Costner.............I can never say I've liked him.

AND to cast him as one of England's great (mythical) heroes is bordering on Blasphemy!! (I know that was a while back but hey!)

I totally agree. Fur-wearing wench.

Michael Winner is a particular pet-hate of mine too...he nearly ran me and a mate over one day!! (He was driving along with cigar in one hand and phone in the other, honking the horn to make us hurry up at a zebra crossing if I remember rightly...horrible man!!)

I used to seethe when he was on those adverts harping on about what a good driver he was. Grrr!

There are far too many actors and actresses who are only in their profession because of their looks........acting ability zilch.

The worse offender in this category IMO is Keanu Reeves, so I refuse to watch anything with him in it!

Tom Cruise. He is a crap actor, very overrated. Well, perhaps he was alright "in his day" but I'm bored of him - he's there for the ladies eyes really. War of the WorlRAB was spoiled by having him as the lead (although, it was not the best remake either).

Russell Crowe gets on my nerves loaRAB. I went to see Master and Commander, which was a terribly boring film, and him just being on screen annoyed me, for no reason whatsoever.

Orlando Bloom - Come on, talk about typcasting - will he ever play a different kid of roll (one which is successful, I mean). He's always in fairytale or historical epic type films. Boring! (not the films, I mean Orlando)

Keanu Reeves - definately! I was watching something like "Keanu's Millions" on BBCTHREE and it said that his wooden-block acting style was his reason for being so successful. He has little expression, which can be a bonus, I agree, but sometimes you just need to move your face to show some kind of emotion.
