I understand your budget is low, but 720p is actually not much of a difference compared to Standard Television; which is basically your old Flat screen hunchback TV. Anyways, I would suggest to purchase a 1080p HDTV, with the more pixels per square inch, it gives higher quality. And, you MUST research the Hz. If the TV descripts 1080p with 120 Hz, is a "good-buy." Compared to 720p with 50 Hz. The higher the hertz, the better! And, the higher the "p" the better. Hope, I helped. Not to mention, if you want crystal-clear quality; 1080 with 120 hz is just that!
