Whey Protein and General Gym questions

Hi.

Since I have been using whey protein I am convinced that my arse has doubled in size. Can whey protein specifically or going to the gym do this? Especially, if you use Whey Protein and often find yourself not getting a chance to go to the gym.

Thanks and sorry for the crude nature of this question.

michaelmil,

Well, it's certainly possible. Too much protein in your diet will turn to fat. Does your Whey Protein contain sugar and/or corn syrup too? I would dump the whey protein and just eat a regular healthy diet. There are so many ways to get healthy protein. Take beans for example: Nothing is more healthy than beans, lentils or split pea soup with a serving of whole grain pasta or rice. If you learn this way of eating you will find it's well worth the effort.

There's no scientific proof that whey protein will help you to build muscle. I think it's popular because it's advertised in body building magazines. Anyway, the average person consumes way too much protein, even without a protein supplement.

It will help but it really depends on your overall diet and amount of exercise. If you have continuing problems with it, you might want to try the weightloss board.

I'm not sure what you are saying, but whey protein(without the sweeteners) is great to have one scoop daily. Don't buy any whey supplements with sweeteners or artificial ingredients but rather pure 100% whey protein with no additives.
