:) :D

It is amazing to me that a group of people can come to one place , everyday , and share there stories , hopes , dreams , pain ,anger ,
for one reason to : to help each other.
We are truly blessed.

Just wondering where everone is from..
I live about 60 miles south of chicago. I am 35yrs guy who just happens to have back problems.

Thanks everyone.

mel... you are my hero.... ;)

Dr. Abernathie is the only one that I have met in that list. I have seen him twice and I have another appointment with him on 3/8. He does seem to listen so far. He has talked to me about surgery and it would be in the thorasic back. He doesn't seem to be afraid to do surgery in that area like many doctors are. He has a wonderful nurse that always has returned my calls pretty quick. I would guess that he probably is in his 40s so that is still young in my book.lol

Hi Puddin,
Me too. Can't seem to leave this place. It's almost a ghost town now, with all the businesses packing up and going out of the country. No jobs for anyone. I'm lucky to be a nurse and could travel before this happened. Not so sure if I will be able to do nursing now, but will hold on for hope. Hubby has been at his job for over 20 years and it doesn't look like they are going anywhere, so we are truly blessed for that. How do you like Chesterfield? We have family in Glen Allen and Mechanicsville, outside of Richmond, so I think we pass by Chesterfield on our way there. I'm not geographically in tune at all. LOL

North Carolina is pretty humid. I'm not sure exactly what it's like over near Charlotte, but I lived in Wilmington for 3 years and found it to be very hot in the summers. The winters were pretty nice (no snow, rarely gets below 30-40). I loved it- it was a nice contrast from living in the northeast.
