I've been there! It's in Granada, Spain. It was completed by the Moorish rules (Moorish were North African Muslim leaders who had invaded Spain.) It was built during the 1300's. It served as a palace for the Moorish leaders who controlled Spain. It's one of the things I was most impressed with while traveling through Europe. The beauty of it is indescribable. We spent the whole day there and we still couldn't cover the whole thing. The design is so intricate...kind of like a finely laced handkerchief or tablecloth! See the link below.
