I have a 4 gauge power wire for an amplifier that I need to run from the battery terminal to the trunk of my 99' Monte Carlo LS. I was wondering if anyone has installed an amp in a Monte Carlo LS before and found a spot to feed the power wire through the firewall without having to drill a hole in the firewall. I was able to do this the last time I installed this system but it was in my old dodge intrepid and I found a rubber grommet that wasn't being used so I fed it through that but I am not finding any grommets anywhere on this Monte Carlo LS. Any help is much appreciated, and please remember that I will not drill my own hole into the firewall.

i was installing neon lights on a friends oldsmobile one time and ran into the same problem. There were no grommets, It was so loaded up with crap on the firewall that i had to drill a hole near the steering column, ended up working out and you couldnt even tell the hole was there. you just have to be careful not to drill a hole into the column itself.
